2nd Vice President Candidates:
Krista Amaro- Kiowa County
Growing up in Southwest Kansas has driven my passion to serve the citizens of rural areas, particularly in emergency and legal situations.
Born in Kinsley and raised in Ford, KS, provided me the opportunity to experience life where your closest neighbor and emergency services might be miles away.
After graduating in 2002 from Bucklin High School, I decided to enter the workforce for a few years in order to pin-point the career path I wanted to take. In 2006, I found my calling at Ford County Communications as an Emergency Dispatcher for the county I was raised in. I continued my career path over the years in Ford County, Hodgeman County, and finally Kiowa County.
After dispatching for 13 years, I accepted the position as the Office Manager for Kiowa County, where I continue to grow my passion inworking with those residing in rural Kansas.
