A few members from the Kansas APCO Chapter board and a few members from the Kansas 911 Coordinating Council went to 911 DAY AT THE CAPITAL to bring awareness to decision makers of what 911 is and what we do. We had an outstanding day with some very positive feedback. Scott & Emily presented to several committees throughout the day on important topics like state standard training, state standard care, PTSD, staffing shortages, etc. Our day was packed with one on one meetings as well. Our voices were heard today! We will continue laying the foundation to educate and advocate for Kansas 911. Special thanks to 1861 Consulting for planning the days agenda and setting up all of the special meetings.
